Specialized Needs Recreation is a Non-Profit Organization that provides recreational opportunities for youth and adults who have special needs and/or developmental disabilities including down syndrome, autism, etc. in North Idaho. SNR is dedicated to its participants and its many volunteers. In November of 2013 Specialized Needs Recreation was awarded the Brightest Star Best Organization Award for the state of Idaho by Governor Butch Otter.
Specialized Needs Recreation offers Monthly Events for ALL ages, Camps for Youth and Annual Events.
Here are some of the activities we offer:
- Monthly dances throughout the year
- Summer, Winter, Spring, & School Days off Day Camp (ages 4-21)
- Clubhouse (ages 19 & up)
5 to 10 Monthly Activities for All ages:
- Annual Christmas Party
- Annual Prom Night
- Annual Talent Show
